Illusion

Over the years designing apartment interiors, we developed this wall illusion technique to create a stunning designed wall treatment on all of those bland white walls we all love in our apartments.   This awesome wall treatment is accomplished by applying semi-gloss and flat paint of the same color within a pattern on a wall.  The pattern may be squares as shown in the photo below or stripes, vertical or horizontal or many other patterns.  While we choose white paint in our photo, you can use any color in your color scheme.  This secret of this technique is texture!  The play between semi gloss and flat paint creates texture and light will definitely highlight the effect.  Just make sure you tape off the pattern in your design!
